At this year’s Beijing Auto Show, to be held at the Chinese capital later this month, Audi will unveil a new crossover concept. Previewed here in these official design sketches, the new model is almost certainly the long-rumored Q4, designed to be Audi’s player in the crowded compact crossover segment.
Details of the new Audi Crossover are yet to be revealed, but the pictures show us a pretty interesting concept with a strong resemblance to the new Audi TT and its close cousin, the Allroad Shooting Brake concept. You get the same grille and headlight arrangement here, which is, of course, not a surprise since that is Audi’s corporate look.
What sets the Q4, if this is indeed it, apart from those cars is the jacked-up ride height, complemented with massively flared arches that accommodate comically large wheels. The rear-end design of the concept represents the sporty side of it, what with the curved roof that ends up in a spoiler, two large spoilers, and a diffuser.
This Audi Crossover concept is already one of the most interesting cars set for Beijing debut. Stay tuned for further details.
