Possible Ferrari F12 Targa Spotted

The first picture of a mysterious Ferrari F12-based model has hit the web, showing a unique take on the Italian super car. Based on the previous bespoke works of Ferrari’s Special Projects division, chances are this model is a one-off built for a wealthy customer.

The car is said to be a bespoke Ferrari F12 Targa called SP America, which makes sense, given the fact that the open-top version of the 599 was called the SA Aperta, and the open-top version of that car’s predecessor was called the 575 Super America. Put this bunch together, mix them good, and you arrive at SP America!

These are, of course, speculations. And the only fact we can deduce from the picture is that the car is most likely a one-off, because only one-off Ferraris get visual treatments like those hood scoops. On the other hand, sooner or later Ferrari will make an open-top version of the F12. So we will keep ours to the ground and keep you posted when we found out more about it.
