Over this past weekend Lamborghini and Zagato revealed a one-off custom model they have made for Lambo collector Albert Spiess at the Villa d’Este concourse. Judging by your comments, you guys absolutely hated the way this car looked, and who can blame you. It just looks weird. But there are two big names behind the 5-95, so we thought it deserves another deeper look.

Here’s a video of Zagato Lamborghini 5-95 making its debut at Villa d’Este. Check it out, and see if you can make sense of it now. And start from the back of the car, because that’s its strongest part.

Zagato Lamborghini 5-95 is based on a Gallardo 570 model and is completely re-bodied by Zagato. Underneath the car is apparently a standard V10 Gallardo, although the exhaust noise is a bit fruitier than what we remember from that car.
