A few weeks ago Cosworth released a very cool animation teasing new power packages for the FA20 engine platform – the flat-four that powers Subaru BRZ, Toyota GT86 and Scion FR-S. They have now officially announced the kit, promising up to 380 bhp.

So finally it seems that the BRZ/GT86/FR-S sports car is getting the power it so desperately needed thanks to Cosworth Power Package. The kit they offer comes in various stages, offering a wide range of power outputs, so you can choose the one that best suits your needs.

For example, if all you want is better pulling power and the ability to finally stay with a normal hatchback in a drag race, you can get the 230bhp package. If you want to take on other sports cars and hot hatches, there is a 325bhp kit. And you are planning on doing track work with your FA20-engined car, you can get a 380bhp upgrade.

The ingredients of Cosworth Power Package include a free flow sports exhaust system, “Power by Cosworth” calibration kit, and Cosworth performance filtration solution and low temperature thermostat. They are also working on a body kit, as you can see in the picture above.
