Hennessey Performance released details, pictures and videos of two new HPE650 and HPE700 performance packages they have devised for the Corvette Stingray Coupe and Convertible. We are just going to cover the 700 horsepower version, because if anybody who can afford a 650-hp package is going to spend a bit more and get the full-fat 700 horsepower kit.
Shown here in this awesome shade of black, Hennessey Corvette Stingray HPE700 comes with a heavily modified LT1 V8 engine featuring high flow supercharger system and cylinder-head, custom camshaft, HPE air intake and engine management system. These changes are enough for an increase of 250 horsepower over the standard.
There are a number of optional extras available for the Hennessey Corvette Stingray that are crucial if you want the look you see in these pictures. They include CarbonAero rear lip spoiler, side sills and front lip spoiler, carbon door sills, and H10 Monoblock wheels, preferably in black.
Furthermore, you can order Brembo braking package, Penske adjustable suspension upgrade, and a custom interior with leather and carbon fiber. The latter sounds like overkill, seeing as the standard Stingray cabin comes with a fair dose of leather and carbon and it already looks quite good.
