Land Rover is updating the current Freelander with a new trim level which is the most luxurious ever offered for the SUV. Called Metropolis, this version is based on HSE LUX specification and comes with lots more premium features in form of special exterior and interior appointments.

The main highlights of Land Rover Freelander Metropolis on the outside include 19-inch diamond-turned alloys wheels, Xenon headlights, signature LED daytime running lights, and, premium metallic paint. But it’s inside the cabin where the magic happens, and where the Metropolis treatment is most evident.

The list of standard equipment for Freelander Metropolis include electrically adjustable (eight-way for driver, six-way for passenger) front seats upholstered in premium Windsor leather; touchscreen-controlled satellite navigation, an 825W meridian surround sound system, panoramic sunroof; heated steering wheel; luxury carpet mats; a reversing camera; and gloss black interior detailing. It is almost as luxurious as a Range Rover, this car.

Land Rover Freelander Metropolis will make its UK debut at Royal Windsor Horse Show. Prices start from £35,995 for the SD4 automatic version.
