A car dealership in Netherlands is currently offering two McLaren P1s for sale. This is a record for itself, as the British hyper car is one of the rarest and most expensive cars in the world right now. It is also proving to be a brilliant investment.

The McLaren P1 Duo offered for sale at the Dutch dealership are each priced at 1.75 million Euros. They both have 500 km on the clock, and they have sober colors – silver and white – which are undesirable for cars of this type. Nevertheless, they each represent a premium of nearly 800,000 Euros over the official price tag, which is about 1.0 million Euros.

So if you have just become a millionaire and missed the chance to order a P1 from the factory, do not despair because you can still get one, or two. You just need to pay a hefty ransom for it. Then again, in a few years time the car would probably worth twice what you pay for it today. So it’ll balance out eventually.

In case you are wondering why McLaren P1 is so expensive, that is partly because it has a limited production run of just 375 units, and partly because it is one of the most advanced cars ever made. The P1 is powered by a hybrid system consisting of a 3.8 liter twin-turbo V8 engine and an electric motor, developing a combined 916 bhp.
