J Lo Aston Martin 600x392 at New Auction Offerings: J Lo’s Aston Martin, Butler’s E Type, and a Carrera GT

Spring auctions are always the best, and this year is no exception. Here we have a collection of three fantastic cars that can be yours, depending on the size of your wallet, all of them among the most covetable and sought after cars in their class.

What’s more, two of these cars used to belong to big time celebrities. Let’s start with J-Lo’s Aston Martin, a 1998 DB7 Volante. The car was a gift from her former fiancée Ben Affleck. Ben apparently thought things were going to work out with Jennifer Lopez, as he blew up some serious cash on the car, getting a limited edition model.

J-Lo’s Aston Martin DB7 is a limited edition Alfred Dunhill, number 2 of 150. With 15,000 miles on the clock, the auctioneer expects the car to fetch between £30,000 and £35,000.

The next car is what every collector, every car enthusiast, and every human being blessed with the gift of sight badly covets. It’s a 1971 Jaguar E-Type Series III V12 Roadster once owned by King Leonidas himself, Gerard Butler. The car has been restored in 1993 and given a fresh lick of black paint, and is expected to sell for £55,000 to £65,000.

Both the Aston and the Jag E-Type are offered at Silverstone Auctions’ May Sale, on May 24th at Silverstone race circuit.

The next offering is from BCA Blackbushe and goes under the hammer on May 26th. It is one of the desirable modern super cars, and one that is very famous these days for killing actor Paul Walker, the Porsche Carrera GT.

Limited to just 1,270 units and powered by a race-bred 5.7 liter V10 engine, this black Carrera GT was worth $440,000 (£330,000). These days mint example like this one, which has only 7,000 miles on the clock, sell for well over $1 million.
