Aston Martin Lagonda Sedan Render 600x337 at Rendering: Aston Martin Lagonda Sedan

Aston Martin has tried a number of times in recent years to revive the Lagonda brand, but to no avail. This time, though, and thanks to their new part investor/part owner Daimler, they seem close to making it happen. And what they will come up with could look close to this.

This is a speculative rendering of the new Aston Martin Lagonda Sedan. Wider and longer than the Rapide, and boasting its own unique styling cues, the new car is inspired by the looks of the original Aston Lagonda. That car too featured a revolutionary design, but it was a total failure in every other aspect.

The new Aston Martin Lagonda Sedan probably won’t suffer from the problems that hindered its predecessor. For one thing, Aston is in a pretty good financial state right now, and they have the technological support of Daimler.

The new Lagonda will be built as a limited edition model by the company’s Q division, and it will be a true exotic, featuring carbon fiber body panels and a V12 engine with close to 600 horsepower.
