Lots of exciting things are going on at Porsche these days. There are a couple of models in the pipeline that if, or when, make it into production will make it even harder to choose the right Porsche. One of them is a hybrid 911, and the other is this, a GT4 version of the Cayman.

This handsome Porsche Cayman GT4 you see here is of curse a rendering. But given the latest spyshots and spy videos, and insider reports, it is pretty much spot on. Visual features of the GT4 will include more prominent aero parts such as a big front spoiler, extra air intakes, new rear diffuser, and a large rear wing.

What lies in the middle of the GT4’s chassis is still a mystery, but it is said that Porsche Cayman GT4 will make the gap between the Cayman and the 911 even narrower than before. Some say it might even get a hybrid powertrain consisting of a four-cylinder engine and an electric motor, but a more likely option would be a beefed up version of the flat-six in the Cayman S.
