The 10th official Pagani Automobili driving tour, known as Vanishing Point, kicked off from the factory yesterday for a long drive to Verona. This year’s Pagani Tour does not include many Huayra’s, just two, but there are a few very special Zonda’s present at the event that make up for it.
The most special Zonda, and the star of the 2014 Pagani Tour, is without doubt the one-off 760 LM; a Zonda inspired by Le Mans racing cars and featuring a unique look. Next to it there is a newly-delivered Zonda Tricolore, and a Cinque Roadster, both of them incredibly rare and incredibly expensive.
Apart from Pagani cars, a large number of other exotic supercars attend the Pagani Tour each year. The 2014 event’s biggest outsiders include Porsche Carrera GT, Mercedes SLS, Gulf Ford GT, and many Lamborghinis.
Come to think of it, the Italians apparently have nothing to do except driving around the country in exotic cars. Every other week there is a new driving tour or super car rally taking place in some part of Italy. This week there is two, the Pagani thing and Ferrari’s official cavalcade.
