Those of you who watched this week’s episode of Top Gear America saw Tanner Foust taking a Land Rover Discovery LR4 across an epic off-road journey which ended up with it boarding a moving plane. If that impressed you and you are thinking of getting one, hold on. You shouldn’t buy the current version because there is a new model coming which is better in every way.
The 2015 Land Rover Discovery that was announced today is not an all-new model, but rather a subtle facelift. But it does offer a lot more than before in terms of styling, capabilities, and features.
Styling-wise, the 2015 Land Rover Discovery is distinguished over the previous version by the virtue of Xenon headlights with LED signature. Depending on the model, you also get new 20-inch wheels. Meanwhile the XXV Special Edition anniversary model offers Grand Black Lacquer wood and leather-wrapped steering wheel.
Inside the cabin you also benefit from the new Land Rover InControl Apps system which offers services such as satellite-navigation, media streaming, internet radio and location services, whilst also providing easy access to the connected smartphone’s contacts, calendar and music library.
