Aston Martin is the next car maker to come up with an exclusive virtual concept car for the Gran Turismo 6 video game. Aston’s ‘Vision Gran Turismo Turismo’ concept is evidently some sort of racing car with a mid-engine layout and LMP1-like looks.

Aston Martin Gran Turismo concept is called Prototype DP-100 (Design Prototype) and it appears to be made entirely from carbon fiber – virtual carbon fiber that is. If DP-100 was a real car that mid-mounted engine would have to be a V12 because that’s the only big engine Aston has. But being a fantasy, it could anything , even an 8 and a half cylinder unit that runs on jelly!

Aston Martin Gran Turismo Design Prototype 100 will be available for Gran Turismo 6 on PS3 in July 2014. Developed in-house by the Design team at Aston Martin, the car is pitched as “an exceptional new addition to the hugely popular Sony PS3 game.”
