German tuner DP Motorsport revealed the result of a laborious restomod project to turn a Porsche 964 into a sports car capable of taking on modern offerings in this segment. Called Porsche 964 Classic S, DP’s 964 gets a thorough visual, structural, and performance upgrade.

On the outside, DP Motorsport Porsche 964 is fitted with an elaborate fiberglass kit designed exclusively for this model, finished in a two-tone classic lime green and matte black. A set of classic Fuchs wheels complement the stylish body.

Inside the cabin the 964 gets a racing treatment with classic sports seats, 4-point safety belt, MOMO steering wheels, and a roll cage. The cage and the rev counter are painted in the same lime green as the body.

DP Motorsport Porsche 964 is powered by a 3.6 liter boxer engine which the engineers have machined up to 3.8, increasing the output from 290 to 330 horsepower. To cope with the speed that this power entails, the car is fitted with 9-fold adjustable Bilstein coilovers, 17-inch wheels, and high-performance tires in size 205/50 and 255/50 front and rear respectively.
