The Middle East market is not really fond of small cars, so you would think that the new Porsche Macan may not enjoy the same success its bigger brother, the Cayenne, is enjoying in this corner of the world. That kind of explains why Porsche went to such enormous length to make sure the Macan gets makes a magnificent regional debut.
They sent the car on a long 6,000 km journey across 7 cities in 7 days. In each city Porsche Macan stopped for a big party held in its honor and tried its best to look as charming and possible. It had a bit of help from Porsche’s marketing crew who had planned top-notch entertainment and hospitality to impress the 3,144 guests the car was introduced to during this week.

The Macan comes in three flavors, including Macan S with a 3.0-litre V6 biturbo engine delivering 340 bhp, Macan S Diesel with a 258 bhp V6 diesel engine, and the Macan Turbo powered by 3.6-litre V6 biturbo engine developing 400 bhp. The diesel version is not offered in the Middle East market.
