Last night Ferrari reached a remarkable milestone as the ‘Like’ counter on their Facebook page passed the 15,000,000 mark. To celebrate the occasion and thank their fans, they strapped a Google Glass on an employee and sent her out to the Fiorano track for a hot lap in the LaFerrari with chief test driver Raffaele de Simone.
This is the end result – 120 seconds of noise and mayhem that set your pulse racing until your heart bursts:
You would expect such fury from the LaFerrari. The car has a V12-KERS engine developing a colossal 960 horsepower, and it’s been driven by a man who helped develop it by having lap after lap of the Fiorano, fine tuning the engine and the chassis. What a magnificent car. What a magnificent company.
