For the past couple of month Ferrari has been secretly working on a bespoke one-off model for an unknown customer, and save a few photos like this one, they did a good job of keeping it under wraps. That is until now, as the car has been photographed strapped in and ready for delivery.
Ferrari SP America, as this model is said to be called, is based on a F12 Berlinetta with most of the body panels modified and caricaturized a bit. It features large air intakes at the front and a lip spoiler finished in black, a very cool vented hood, LED headlights, and fairly prominent side aero blades.
That is what we can notice from the pictures. One would imagine the SP also gets a revised rear diffuser along with a decklid spoiler and maybe some crazy tailpipe arrangement. Nothing is known about the car’s technical specs, except for the fact that it has the F12 underpinnings.
It was believed at first that Ferrari SP America was going to a limited edition open-top version of the F12. But the source from whom these pictures have emerged say they’ve checked the roof and it appears to be normal.
