We have seen quite a few Jaguar F-Type vs Porsche 911 comparison tests ever since the British car came out putting up a fight against the German. This one though, it’s a bit different because it pits the finest versions of both cars against each other. It’s the F Type Coupe R against the 911 50th Anniversary edition.

Both these cars are so gorgeous to look at and so sweet to drive, the real answer to the ‘which one to buy’ question is both. But if you can’t afford shelling out over $250K, then this video may help you choose the right one:

Jaguar F-Type Coupe R is powered by a 550 horsepower supercharged V8 engine that sounds like it’s shouting at someone. It tends to oversteer and rivals Mila Kunis in terms of cuteness.

The Porsche 911 50th Anniversary Edition has a much tamer 430 horsepower flat-six that is also as quiet as old butler. But the Porsche delivers quicker lap times simply because it is a better driver’s car. Visually though, it is only marginally better than Sarah Jessica Parker.
