While most car makers are hooking up with Gran Turimo 6 and even designing specific concepts for it, Lamborghini has teamed up with Forza to promote a real car, the new Huracan. The Italian supercar has been chosen as the hero car for Forza Horizon 2.
Unlike pretty much all other car games these days, in Forza Horizon 2 you are not limited to the confines of a race track. You can roam free and explore endless routes around the Mediterranean landscapes, and socialize with other players that have come out for a spin.
Other features that set Forza Horizon 2 apart from the rest include Drivatars (Xbox One’s cloud-based racers that replicate the behaviors of friends and strangers to drive like real people), and a complete view of the passenger compartment, including the original interior, working power windows and headlights.
Forza Horizon 2 will be the first game to feature Lamborghini Huracan. Meanwhile in the real world the car is gradually reaching its first customers who will soon get to enjoy the thrill of playing with 610 horsepower on real roads.
