Just in time for the 2014 World Cup, a yellow Porsche 918 Spyder has arrived in Brazil, presumably to support the national team with its unique paint finish. This color, which according to Porsche 918’s configurator is called Racing Yellow, may look a bit dull for this hyper car, but it is pretty unique.

Maybe it’s just us, but this racing yellow Porsche 918 looks kind of like a 40 grand Cayman from afar. But that is probably OK with the owner, as he apparently wanted to show his support for his country by choosing this color… as if driving this expensive and fragile hyper car on the streets of Sao Paulo wasn’t enough to prove his patriotism! This 918 is said to the very first one in the country.

As a reminder, Porsche 918 Spyder is powered by a sophisticated hybrid powertrain consisting of one racing-grade V8 engine in the middle and a couple of electric motor on each end of it. Together they make close to 900 horsepower, which translates into a 0 to 100 km/h time of 2.8 seconds and a top speed of around 340 km/h.
