Each year at the EAA AirVenture Ford brings out a special aviation-themed Mustang which will then get auctioned off for the Gathering of Eagles charity. This is what they are proposing for this year’s event, an F35-themed 2015 Mustang.
As the name clearly suggests, the Ford Mustang F-35 is inspired by the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II – only in design – boasting a carbon fiber front splitter and a big rear wing made from carbon fiber. The whole thing is then wrapped in a titanium-colored film and garnished with F35 decals.
Other features include sport Recaro seats with yellow upholstery as well as yellow tinted windows.
Ford Mustang F-35 will go under the hammer at the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) AirVenture event in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, to raise money for the EAA Young Eagles program which provides free flights training for enthusiast. This is where future Air Force hotshots begin their journey!
