Aston Martin has been using their cheesy “Power, Beauty, Soul” motto less and less in recent years, but these are the exact words we thought of when we saw the promo clip for the new V12 Vantage S Roadster; the fastest and most powerful drop-top Aston ever.

Well, we say new, but in truth Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster is an amalgam of a few different Astons, all of them really rather old. It is based on the normal Vantage Roadster; it has the V12 engine from the DBS; and it gets a few bits and bobs from the Vantage racing cars. The end result, though, is just spectacular:

Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster boasts 565 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque, which makes it one of the most powerful roadsters in the world right now. Combined with a 7-speed Sportshift III transmission, that power enables the Vantage S to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, and flat out reach a top speed of 323 km/h.
