The Aventador has been an utter and complete success for the Italian car maker and its German overlords at Audi. But it’s been going on for four years with no significant change apart from a couple of special editions, and it’s time for some major changes to keep the customers happy.
That change comes in form of the Lamborghini Aventador SV, a high-performance variant set for launch in early 2015. Lamborghini has apparently started taking orders already, and the first customer has already gone on Facebook to boast about it!
Details of the Lamborghini Aventador SV are unknown at the moment, but based on what we know from the Murcielgao SV, this car’s predecessor, it should be about 100 kg lighter than the standard model, have 30 or more horsepower advantage, and feature a super aggressive aero kit with a large splitter up front and a big fixed wing out back.
The thing is, various tuners like DMC and LibertyWalk have already done what can be done to improve the Aventador. We don’t know how Lambo is going to come up with something profoundly different than what we’ve already seen.
