Porsche Cayman GT4 is one of those new cars us car guys are eagerly waiting for. The GT4 ought to be one of the greatest driver’s cars ever, simply because it is a hotted-up, lightened, and more focused version of the Cayman GTS, which we already know is mind-blowingly good.
Based on the latest spyshots and leaked information, designer from Virtuel-Car have whipped up these renderings of the Porsche Cayman GT4. We have seen a fair few renderings of the GT4 before, and these images seem to us to be the closest yet to reality.
That said, while it takes certain skills to illustrate the images, it doesn’t take much imagination to visualize what the GT4 will look like. We know from the spyshots that the car sports a large fixed rear wings, which means it is designed to track work. The addition of a fixed rear wing entails a larger front splitter, and since the aero package is so substantial, you can count on other goodies such as track-spec suspension, uprated brakes, and a bespoke traction control system.
Porsche Cayman GT4 should be launched in early 2015 boasting close to 450 horsepower, and a price tag dearer than that of the base 911.
