To cure your mondayitis, British photographer GFWilliams uploaded his full set of McLaren P1 desert photoshoot. The P1 in this shoot is the famous GLG – Team Galag – car from this year’s Gumball Rally, where it sported a unique wrap throughout the event.
Here in these shots though, Galag’s P1 shows its real color which is a two-tone grey and clear-coated carbon fiber. It is quite a looker, this car, and has the muscle to back its phenomenal looks. The hybrid powertrain consists of a 3.8 liter twin-turbo V8 which on its own generates over 800 PS.
The rest of the P1’s total 916 PS comes from an electric motor that works all the time to supplement the performance of the petrol engine. It can also be used to power the car for a few zero-emission miles. In full attack mode, McLaren P1 deals with 0 to 100 km/h run in around 2.5 seconds, and it reaches 350 km/h flat out.
