Granted, this is probably the world’s most predictable drag race. Even if you don’t know the specs, just looking at the shapes of these cars you can tell what the outcome of Porsche 918 vs 911 Turbo race would be. The real purpose of this test is to give you some ideas how fast the 918 is by pitting against a car we already know is bloody quick.

If Porsche 918 Spyder can make mincemeat of the 911 Turbo without breaking a sweat, it is going to have no problem facing the other hypercar giants, McLaren P1 and Ferrari LaFerrari:

Even though it loses this drag race, Porsche 911 Turbo should be proud of itself. Despite lacking over 300 horsepower compared to the 918, the Turbo kept up with it for a long while and in the end it didn’t go down without a fight. But you can’t argue with the 918’s mind-boggling power; especially this particular example which appears to be fitted with the Weissach Package.
