2014 Pebble Beach auto week is the venue Jaguar chose to unveil the American-spec version of the F-Type Project 7; a limited edition of just 250 units. The car features a retro-modern body inspired by the legendary D-Type, and a beefed-up V8 engine rated at 567 horsepower.
If exclusivity, unique looks, and raw power are the qualities you are looking for, then Jaguar F-Type Project 7 is the car for you. The only problem is that it costs $165,925 USD. Considering you get 90 percent of the same fun from a run of the mill $70K F-Type, those extras don’t really seem like good value.
The American Jaguar F-Type Project 7 comes with a larger windscreen due to U.S. safety regulations. Tou can order the car in white, red, black, blue or green, but they not like ordinary colors. They are all bespoke colors developed by Jaguar Special Operations team and they all have fancy names. Special stripes and graphics complement the paint job.
Performance-wise, the F-Type Project 7 is a true beat of a car with a 0 to 60 time of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 186 mph.
