We have already heard the amazing soundtrack of Chrysler’s new 6.2 liter Hellcat V8 engine in the Challenger Hellcat. But may because it’s a four-door car, that engine sounds meaner and angrier in the newly-revealed Dodge Charger Hellcat. You kinda don’t expect what’s essentially a family sedan to sound so brutal.
But it does, and that, frankly, is one of the best things about 2015 Dodge Charger Hellcat. Granted the car sounds more like a diesel truck while idling, but as soon you rev it up all hell breaks loose:
An exhaust noise that can start an avalanche is not the only virtue of Dodge Charger Hellcat. It is also, if Chrysler’s claims are all true, the fastest four-door sedan in the world. The 0-60 time has not been revealed yet, but they say it can go from 0 to 100 mph in 13 seconds and reach a top speed of 204 mph. The quarter-mile is dealt with in just 11 seconds – all that thanks to a 707 horsepower Hellcat engine.
