This weekend at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance McLaren will unveil a £2 million track-focused version of the P1 hyper car called the GTR. The car was first teased in this official drawing. Now as we get closer to debut day they have released another teaser shot showing the car under wraps.

But that’s not all you have to go with until Sunday. Photographer Stradman managed to scoop a mysterious car under wraps at Pebble Beach. We’re not 100 percent sure, but all the evidence (large rear wing, the form of the rear bumper and diffuser, and the McLaren orange color) suggest this is indeed the highly anticipated McLaren P1 GTR.

So at least now you know what sort of two-tone paint job you can expect to see on McLaren P1 GTR at the unveiling event. It’s McLaren Orane paired with, almost certainly, bare carbon fiber. The British super car maker has already revealed some of the GTR’s technical details. It is lighter and more powerful than the standard P1 (up from 916 PS to 1000 PS), and features aggressive aerodynamics, and yes, a £1.98 million price tag.
