Toyota’s never ending quest to make their family cars look more exciting continues with the new 2015 Camry facelift. Set to go on sale later this month in two Camry and Camry Hybrid variants, the new model boasts a bold new exterior design, improved dynamic performance, and a premium interior.
It is still not what you call pretty, but at least with those huge chrome teeth and stylish headlights, the 2015 Toyota Camry looks interesting and not like a slab of concrete. It’s a good thing Toyota didn’t get carried away with the whole revision thing. The Camry, after all, is a family sedan and a best-selling one at that. There is only so much tinkering you can do with its looks.
2015 Toyota Camry will be available in four models, including LE, the SE, the new XSE and the premium XLE. The new XSE is a more ‘extreme’ version of the sporty SE with an edgier look, enthusiastic driving dynamics and luxurious amenities. This model, and the XLE, will also be available with a 268 hp 3.5-liter V6, while the rest of the range gets a 178 hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder.
Standard equipment on all Camry models include 8-way power driver’s seat with power lumbar support, shift lever boot with contrast stitching, satin chrome interior accents, passenger window auto up-down, chrome front upper grille and rear trunk garnish (smoked chrome on SE), and heated outside mirrors.
Prices for the 2015 Toyota Camry start from $22,970 for the LE, $23,840 for the SE, $26,150 for the XSE, and $31,370 for the XLE V6. The Hybrid version starts from $26,790 for the LE model, $27,995 for the SE, and $29,980 for the premium XLE.
