Car designers and rendering artists are having a lot of fun with Aston Martin’s new Lagonda sedan. A few days ago we saw a shooting brake version of this car which looked like a hearse, and now this, a pickup truck version.
The designers apparently think if Aston can change the lights on a Rapide and present it as a new model, they can take liberties with it too. That said, you have to really stretch your imagination to look at the Aston Martin Lagonda and think it would make a good pickup!
That what X-Tomi Design did, and we have to say the end result isn’t half bad. It is actually more of a Ute than a pickup, but either way, it looks pretty cool. As for what sort of cargo one might carry with an Aston Martin pickup, it should probably be something light and delicate not to damage the expensive car.
Aston Martin Lagonda pickup truck might be a wild fantasy, but the sedan version is totally real and will be launched next year exclusively in the Middle East. The car is based on the Rapide S and has the same running gear, but boasts bespoke carbon fiber body work.
