Yosemite National Park in California is probably the last place you’d expect to see a car like Aston Martin V12 Zagato, what with it being a sophisticated Anglo-Italian collabo designed with the South of France in mind. But that’s the very place an exquisite blue example of this car was recently spotted.

The magnificent Aston Martin V12 Zagato in these pictures features a unique blue paint job that goes really well the bare carbon fiber parts, of which there are plenty. The Zagato is a re-bodied V12 Vantage garnished with tons of Zagato-special styling cues such as a fastback rear-end, double bubble roof, and deliciously curvy hips.

The V12 Zagato is limited to 101 units, each sporting a price tag of £396,000, or nearly three times what a standard V12 Vantage costs. That is curious, because underneath that bespoke body, the Zagato is identical to the Vantage, boasting a 6.0 liter V12 engine and a seriously old drivetrain that feels like it belongs to the previous century, because it kinda does.
