Most of the ostentatious chrome-wrapped cars with ridiculous body kits and loud exhaust you see in Monaco everyday belong to foreigners on vacation in the Principality. Original Monegasque cars on Monte Carlo number plates are usually more sophisticated, and this dark green Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is a prime example of that.
Of course there are always those who believe a Ferrari that isn’t red, isn’t a Ferrari at all. But in a city like Monaco where everybody owns a red Ferrari if you want to stand out – without resorting to the aforementioned atrocities – you need to choose a color that is one of a kind. If it’s also extremely cool like this shade of green here, then so much the better.
This dark green Ferrari 599 with matching interior appears to be a standard GTB with the original body style and a 620 horsepower engine it shares with the Enzo. The car features a flappy paddle transmission, and electronic differential, and a super sophisticated F1-style traction control with Race mode. Even though the 599 is a GT car and has a bit boot, it is far from the most practical Ferrari out there. It is still too wide and too low for everyday use.
