For those of you who can’t wait another four days to see the new Mercedes AMG GT sports car, Mercedes released the first shots of the car’s rear-end. It is not the real car, mind you, but a digital model of it created for the upcoming video game, Driveclub.
It doesn’t make any difference though, because the car in the game is modeled on the real thing and is 100 percent identical to it. So this is what the AMG GT’s back end looks like. Curvatious, isn’t it? Mercedes has said the GT is one of the most beautiful cars they’ve ever made. Well, if that butt is any indication, they must be telling the truth!
What we know about the Mercedes AMG GT in terms of its technical specs: It is powered by a brand-new 4.0 liter AMG V8 engine developing 460 PS in standard and 510 PS in the S variant. It is rear-wheel-drive only, and comes with a dual-clutch transmission which enables it to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. Flat out, the GT will do over 310 km/h. Oh, and it sounds magnificent while doing that.
Mercedes AMG GT will be revealed in full on September 9 and goes on sale in early 2015.
