The car also features matching Acid Yellow interior contrast stitching and “P1” logo painted Acid Yellow on the carbon fiber engine cover. So in some way it is a one of a kind P1. And it is certainly one of the most beautiful ones we’ve laid eyes so far.
McLaren P1, as you know, is limited to 375 units, all of them spoken for. The British manufacturer is putting out the pre-order the P1 at remarkable speed. It is almost as if they are in a hurry to wrap up the production and get busy with the next big thing, the P1 GTR.
To refresh your memory, this Acid Yellow McLaren P1 is powered by the standard hybrid power train consisting of a 3.8 liter bi-turbo V8 engine and an electric motor, developing a combined poer output of 916 PS. The P1 can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just over 2.5 seconds and reach 350 km/h. The car is yet to be tested against the LaFerrari and Porsche 918, but they have been photographed together.
