Ford Revealed two more custom Mustangs headed for debut at the 2014 SEMA Show next month. These ones are the works of the famous Galpin Auto Sports (GAS) and Petty’s Garage. There will be a whole stampede of custom 2015 Mustang models at SEMA besides these two, created by some of the best names in tuning business.
Galpin’s 2015 Mustang GT is an independent celebration of the car’s 50th anniversary, featuring a very special metallic gold-flecked black paint and gold badges, plus unique interior trims and wheels. The 5.0 liter V8 engine meanwhile is upgraded with a gold powder-coated Whipple supercharger and it makes 725 horsepower.
As for Petty’s Garage Mustang, the car has more of an old school custom theme about it, boasting blue paint and a discrete No. 43, Petty’s car number in his NASCAR days, and a V8 engine upgraded with a Rough supercharger. This one is made for a good cause and will be auctioned by Barrett-Jackson with proceeds benefiting Victory Junction, which is dedicated to helping chronically ill children attend summer camp.
