While Ferrari does have a bespoke department that allows customers to go nuts with their cars and have it personalized in more ways than one, it hasn’t been really active with the LaFerrari hyper car. This is the first “custom” LaFezza we have come across. And Jay Kay’s car doesn’t count because that was just a paint job!
This one features an all-black paint job with black wheels and carbon aero parts, garnished very tastefully with red accents. You find them on the front spoiler, side skirts, side mirrors, and more prominently on the rear diffuser. This is just the nicest complement for the carbon elements on LaFerrari’s body and go really well with the red brake calipers.
We still can’t believe that Ferrari’s finest creation to date is offered with only one wheel design and a very ugly on at that. All LaFerraris we’ve seen so far have had these wheels. At least in this case they are finished in matte black and look a bit less boring as a result.
Ferrari LaFerrari is a hybrid hyper car like the Porsche 918 and McLaren P1. But unlike them, the electric motor is only there to supplement the output of a big, beefy V12 that is the main source of power. Together they generate a colossal 960 horsepower which translates into a 0 to 100 km/h time of 2.6 seconds and a top speed of 370 km/h (limited).
