We waited a long time to see this, the new 2015 Mustang RTR. The car has now been unveiled at SEMA by Ford Racing and Vaughn Gitten who have teamed up to score a bigger piece of the pie that is Mustang tuning market.

The 2015 Mustang RTR is basically a package that you order for you standard Mustang, be it an EcoBoost, V6 or a GT, and turn it into cool and sporty speed machine. The package is offered in two separate Spec 1 and Spec 2 packs, with the former including the visual upgrades and the latter performance goodies.

So RTR Spec 1 package consists of chin spoiler, rear spoiler, rear diffuser with side splitters, rocker splitters, upper grille with integrated lighting, and lower grille. The performance treatments of Spec 2 includes adjustable dampers, adjustable sway bars, lowering springs, RTR exclusive exhaust system by Magnaflow, RTR custom tuning, optional supercharger and RTR cold air intake system.

And if you are wondering how powerful can you get with a 2015 Mustang RTR, the full-fat performance upgrade kit is good for 725 horsepower. But power and speed aside, we’d buy this package just for the way it looks. The visual package manages to bring out all that is good about the new Mustang’s design, while the stripes give it a unique and rather expensive kind of look.
