2014 has been a busy year for Aston Martin. Even though they didn’t release an all-new model. Aston unveiled a large number of exiting new editions and concepts this year. So as we approach the end of the year, Aston announced the launch of Ultimate Evolution Tour in which they will showcase these noteworthy products across the UK dealer network.
Aston Martin Ultimate Evolution Tour displays the firm’s “latest design and technical developments,” plus all the special editions, concepts, and updated models revealed in the past eleven months. Among the highlights of this tour there is the only full-size model of DP-100 which is a futuristic virtual concept created for video game Gran Turismo 6, Vantage N430 road and race cars, and the unique ‘rolling chassis’ for 2015 Vanquish and Rapide S.
Aston’s guests at the exclusive Ultimate Evolution Tour events will also be able to drive the DP-100 in GT6 stations at the dealerships, and also check out the latest production range at the showroom. All the events are already fully booked, but you can follow the action on social media sites using the #UltimateEvo.
2014 also saw the prestigious British car maker sign new partnership deals with Mercedes and AMG. In a few years time Aston Martin production cars will boast Mercedes chassis and AMG engines. These will be bespoke to Aston, so you don’t have to worry about them taking away from the brand’s quintessential Britishness.
