It is not exactly a secret that Jay Leno is bot a big fan of SUVs and off-roading. In fact, we can’t remember seeing one SUV in his vast 150-plus-car garage. But to promote their new TRD Series trucks, Toyota convinced Jay to give this thing a try, promising that he will be thrilled.
And to ensure the he won’t be disappointed, they brought out Ivan “Ironman” Stewart, an off-road racing legend with 17 Baja 500 titles under his belt.
Jay starts his journey in a Toyota Tundra TRD Pro, a very capable pickup truck upgraded by Toyota Racing Development with professional suspension, chunky off-road tires, protective parts as well as beautification panels. He then swaps this run of the mill offroader for Ironman’s Protruck racing machine, and that’s when things get interesting.
