By the looks of things the 2015 RS3 was not the only new model Audi wants to unveil before the year ends. The first pictures of the 2015 Audi Q7 have also found their way to the web, which as you know means the official unveiling is imminent.
If this car looks familiar to you, that is probably because a while ago we features a rendering of the 2015 Audi Q7 by X-Tomi, which as it turns out was pretty much spot on. The new Q7 SUV has traded some of its curves for sharper angles, and although that new face makes it look somewhat like the Q3 and Q5, it is now more chiseled and muscular, which is good.
Underneath the skin, 2015 Audi Q7 has gone the way of Range Rover and lost a staggering 360 kg. That is mainly thanks to the sophisticated MLB Evo platform upon which this car is based. Other notable new features include the availability of laser headlights, and the latest generation of Audi’s state of the art MMI connectivity system.
As for the powertrains, details are yet to be revealed. But as before, you can expect a range of efficient diesel and petrol engines, plus a hybrid variant and maybe even a high-performance SQ7 super diesel.
