The Bulgarian interior specialist turned fully fledged tuner, Vilner, has crossed path with a Porsche 997 Turbo Cabrio recently and in a sort of natural reaction improved it tenfold. This time it is not just about the interior though. This time they have also upgraded the engine.

That’s a first for Vilner, but they have pulled it off nicely, mainly thanks to a RaceChip ECU upgrade that boosts the output of the flat-six turbo engine from 530 to 560 horsepower. That is not much, but it should give this Porsche 997 Turbo Cabrio more overtaking power.

For the interior, Viner decided to keep the original red and black theme, but change the materials to soft Nappa leather and Alcantara. What’s more, the consoles and door cards are now garnished with carbon fiber trim pieces, as is the sport leather-wrapped steering wheel. The seat upholstery features red leather on the bolsters and black Alcantara in the middle, adorned with Porsche logos embossed on the headrests.

Agreed, the improvements made to this 997 Turbo Cab may not have been tenfold. But there is no denying this Porsche is now a lot more fun to live with as a result of those changes.
