Opening the order books for the new 2016 Cadillac ATS-V family, GM revealed the official pricing for both the Coupe and the Sedan version. The hot, 455 horsepower mid-size models are priced from $61,460 for the four-door and $63,660 for the two-door.
Powering the 2016 Cadillac ATS-V in both bodystyles is a Twin Turbo V6 rated at 455 horsepower (339 kW) and 445 lb-ft of torque (603 Nm). That power translates into a 0-60 mph time of 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 189 mph. If you need something faster and more powerful, you should hold on for the new CTS-V to be launched.
You can choose between a six-speed manual gearbox with Active Rev Match system, or an eight-speed automatic with paddle shifters. Both feature launch control. Also standard on the new ATS-V are Brembo high-performance brake system, Third-generation Magnetic Ride Control, Performance Traction Management, tri-compound tires for extra grip, and carbon fiber hood.
Optionally, you can order a “track aerodynamics package” that brings with it a considerable amount of downforce, and specify the Performance Data Recorder which allows drivers to record high-definition video with data overlays of their driving experiences on and off the track and share them on social media. It’s a full Russian dash-cam affair, meaning you can also use it on the road to record other people’s misdemeanors!
