Automobili Lamborghini just released a somewhat confusing teaser video, announcing their 2015 Geneva Motor Show debut. All we can ascertain from this teaser is the thing in question here is a car, and a “most reactive” one at that. Yep, it is most likely the Lamborghini Aventador SV we have been waiting for.
The teaser also gives us other clues including “the most dangerous bend,” and that “the challenge is coming” which would make a feeble mind think they might be talking about a new series of something. But then we see 12 smoking pipes hinting at a V12 engine.
The Lamborghini Aventador SV, if that’s what it’s called, is a more performance-minded, hard-core version of the Italian super car equipped with a hotted-up version of the existing V12 engine. It is said to be good for 750 horsepower, and fingers crossed, it will also get a dual-clutch transmission instead of the single-plate ISR transmission in the standard Aventador.
It is hard to see why would anyone want a faster car than the normal Aventador which can reach 350 km/h. But everybody wants a cooler looking, crazier, and more aggressive model. And that’s what the SV will offer.
