Jaguar Land Rover Reveals SPECTRE Cars

SPECTRE Cars 600x337 at Jaguar Land Rover Reveals SPECTRE Cars

Confirming an already known partnership with the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment for the new James Bond movie, the SPECTRE, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has now revealed the cars that will star in the film.

Joining the Aston Martin DB10 on the set of SPECTRE are Jaguar C-X75, Range Rover Sport SVR and Land Rover Defender Big Foot. The C-X75 you might be familiar with, but the other two are custom cars built for the movie.

The Defender Big Foot is the more interesting of the off-roaders James Bond, or one of his costars, will be driving. Built by SVR special operators, the car features 37-inch diameter off-road tyres and so many off-road gears, it makes Angelina Jolie’s Tomb Raider Defender look like a kiddy bike!

The Range Rover SVR is custom as well, but it’s not as extreme as the Defender. And as for the Jaguar C-X75, the concept car is painted a brash orange and it will be involved in thrilling chase scenes with the DB10, presumably driven by the baddies because Bond, traditionally, has to be in the Aston.

Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations, John Edwards, said: “This is an exciting partnership for Jaguar Land Rover and an opportunity to demonstrate the fantastic capabilities of the Special Operations team.’’
