Bet Chris Harris is regretting selling his Porsche 911 GT3 RS now! A left-hand-drive example of the limited edition sports car has just become available on the market sporting a price tag of £249,950 or $387,510 USD. The car has done 5,050 miles.
Finding a low-mileage Porsche 911 GT3 RS is a difficult since they only made 600 of them and they were bought mostly by hard-core enthusiasts like Chris Harris who beat the hell of their cars on road and pretty much wreck them on the race track. This car is chassis number 599 (modelyear 2012) and it comes with all the Clubsport options including rear roll cage and Guards Red harnesses.
The reason Porsche 911 GT3 RS had become an appreciating classic is due its rarity and because it boasts, arguably, the sweetest possible spec you can have for a 911. The car is based on the 997 GT3 but it comes with the 4.0 liter engine punching out nearly 500 horsepower. That, combined with the low weight, optimized aero, and a manual gearbox, makes the RS 4.0 an absolute delight to drive. It also features a bespoke carbon fiber aero kit and a lovely stripe. Many people want this car just for that stripe!
