Vantage GT3 600x356 at Sights and Sounds: Aston Martin Vantage GT3

Even though it yet another tarted-up Vantage with a rather silly body kit, we are quite excited to see the new Aston Martin Vantage GT3 at the Geneva Motor Show. But for those who can’t wait, here’s an in-depth look at the high-performance GT car with sights to melt your heart and sounds to give you a powerful eargasm!

Of course the Vantage GT3 is not the only new Aston Martin we will be seeing in Geneva. They are also bringing the new Vulcan hyper car, which is a track-only model.

So to recap the headlines one more time, Aston Martin Vantage GT3 is powered by a 600 PS version of the firm’s aging V12, and it weighs in at 100kg less than a standard V12 Vantage S, thanks to flared carbon fibre front wings, carbon fibre bonnet, a lithium ion race-derived battery, carbon-fibre door casings, optional carbon fibre roof, optional weight-saving polycarbonate rear window and rear quarter windows. Performance figures have not been revealed yet, but something that look like that is bound to be trouser-troublingly fast.

Aston Martin CEO Dr Andy Palmer said: “Motorsport is in our blood at Aston Martin. The Vantage is the car we campaign in top level sports car racing around the world and so it seems only fitting that we offer an exclusive, limited edition Vantage that expertly fuses our motorsport know-how with our road car prowess.”
