The 13th P1 hyper car delivered by McLaren Newport Beach is another uniquely colored example. The Pearl Tarocco Orange McLaren P1 features the same paint finish which was the launch color for the 650S Coupe and 650S Spider, as you can clearly see in the picture above.
Now, this may seem like a bad idea, using the color of a lesser car for a high-end range-topping model. But there are two things about it you need to take into account. First, this shade of orange might be a 650 color, but it’s an awesome color nonetheless. Second, the P1 is a highly bespoke car. McLarne would paint it crapbrown if the customer asks!
This Tarocco Orange McLaren P1 is another feather in McLaren NB’s cap. They have been the most active McLaren representative in shifting P1s. That of course has to do with the affluence of the region they are located in, but it’s still very impressive. This picture from just a few of the P1s they’ve delivered, most of them MSO models, speaks volumes about the prestige of this outfit.
The Pearl effect on the Tarocco Orange gives it s golden hue that shifts between orange and red depending on the light and the your viewing angle. Check it out in the gallery below:
