Lamborghini did a very good job of keeping the new LP750-4 SV Superveloce under the wraps until they can officially unveil it at the Geneva Motor Show, which has now happened. As the hotted-up version of the normal Aventador, the Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce is a true high-performance machine with an astonishing turn of speed.
As the name LP750 clearly suggests, Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce boasts an astounding 750 horsepower V12 engine. It is also 50 kg lighter and benefits from more aggressive aerodynamics, as well as pushrod suspension with magnetorheological dampers and Lamborghini dynamic steering. The car is also equipped with a completely new lightweight exhaust system.
The upshot of all this is that Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of more than 350 km/h or 217 mph.
The new carbon fiber aero kit on the Superveloce trusted with a number of tasks including increasing the downforce, helping the weight reduction, and giving the car an even more awesome look than the standard car. And it does all those jobs beautifully. Overall aerodynamics have been optimized by 150% in term of efficiency and gained a considerably higher downforce of 170% over the standard Aventador.
Going on sale in late spring, the new Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce will cost 327,190 Euros at the factory.
