The recently unveiled Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce is already off the hook in terms of awesomeness since it’s lighter, more powerful, and meaner-looking than the standard model. But there is way to make it more awesome still, and that’s removing the roof. Meet the Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce Roadster.
This is of course a flight of fancy for the time being, a very good rendering made by the guys at TopSpeed to show you how the SV looks as a drop-top. Lamborghini may never consider building a Superveloce Roadster – although they are said to be testing some prototypes of it – because this version is supposed to be a hard-core, performance-oriented Aventador, not another show-offy edition of an already insane design. Although, you would allow, such a thing is going to turn lots of necks.
The Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce Roadster would, presumably, feature the same roof arrangement as the standard Aventador Roadster which means you get two large and rather fiddly piece of carbon fiber that lock in place when you need the roof, and can be stowed away in the boot when you don’t. Even if Lambo doesn’t make this model you can still have something similar to it by buying a standard Roadster and asking your local tuner to fit it with a SV-like body kit.
